Mong – yes that’s it. He’s is, after all, Rant’s deep throat
OK – I probably feel a bit sorrier for him then if it was 100k gross as after tax and agent’s fees he wouldn’t have been taking home a huge amount.
Sorry Shazback, I can’t agree – Bebe is 20 years old already and was just dreadful on the occasions he played in the senior squad – remember that match against Wolves where he seemingly wasn’t even familiar with the concept of what a cross was???
If he was 17 you’d have to give him the benefit of the doubt (personally I think Macheda at 19 years of age will still come good, although perhaps not at United but certainly at the top level eg Serie A) but Bebe would need to make quantum leaps in development in the next couple of years just to be able to lace Fletcher’s boots.
Bebe is destined to join the Best Forgotten 11, along with other legends like Bellion, Djemba Djemba, Bosnich, Taibi and Kleberson. I’ll be fair to Veron and Forlan – both class players who just didn’t fit at United…just like Berbatov.
I dunno, Bebe has always looked exactly as he was expected to be coming in: bursting with obvious athletic potential but extremely raw for someone his age. The fact that Besiktas is paying for the privilege of his services for a season, as opposed to just paying his wages, sounds to me like he's given some value by the market, and it would be premature to assume that he's just getting offloaded, plenty have come back from loan improved.
A season in our reserves followed by a season in an easier league? Sounds exactly like the right training program for a lad like this, so I don't see any reason to think he's been written off just yet.
In any case, even if he's a dud in the end, it seems excessive to harp on about this trade in ABU fashion. Transfers have always been the same - you win some, you lose some.
Has anyone, literally anyone, bought a shirt with Bebe and his number on the back?

you've been sucking hans cock too much
Bebe was a good footballer before he came to United but once SAF cut off his dreadlocks, he lost it all. Besiktas has an option to buy, but if he grows back his dreadlocks, he will get his confidence back.
FOR...
FUCK...
SAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOLOLOL im starting to get some entertainment outa this twat
our very own samson
If he was that bad Besiktas wouldnt want him on loan.
if he was that bad we wouldnt have signed him.. no bad players would ever be signed or loaned at any club and football is soo simple its impossible to make a mistake
FFS
Ichiro – I get the feeling it’s a little more nuanced than that. There’s now five Jorge Mendes clients at Besiktas, and with de Gea arriving four at United.
You need to remember that at 19 years of age, Macheda has been with professional sides and trained with expert coaches for a long time. Bebe has not. I’m not saying Bebe will be the next superstar, he might not be heard from again, but this whole lynch every player who doesn’t immediately meet the fickle fans exacting standards is just utterly riddiculus. Fuck me, immagine being his age and coming from the streets to OT in such a short time, and then people actually expect him to be like Ronaldo in his first game?
If he was THAT bad, then no, we would not have signed him, and Besiktas, a big club, would not want to pay so much money to take him on loan.
He might turn out to be good or bad, but hes not just complete rubbish to the point where people are saying there was something dodgy about it. I dont buy it.
Just because Besiktas are taking him on loan doesn't mean he's any good. Having played in United's first team on your CV will get you a chance about one more top end club, one good one and one average one.

Ok here’s clarification. Terms are officially being kept confidential but:- £900,000 (1m euros) loan fee for 12 month loan
- NO option to buy written into the contractThere may well be a gentlemen’s agreement on this though and I am checking with Gestifute.
That's great news, I believe this kid could be one of the world's best if he's groomed properly and if he plays in the centre.
I don't think there would be a gentlemen's agreement, why couldn't they just put it in the contract as an option instead of an agreement?
Geno, I don’t see how a player (moreso a striker) being unable to put in a good cross is a problem. Inzaghi can probably ping in crosses all day on the training pitch, but I can’t remember him schooling anybody in that respect once the clock was ticking.
Simply put, for all the lack of quality certain aspects of his game have, he’s scored more goals for Manchester United than Forlan did in his first season, depite having fewer minutes on the pitch to do so. Perhaps there are aspects beyond technical skill that compensate his flaws, such as positioning, tactical awareness or just plain luck.
He’s still got time to improve if given the right training: Klose trained and played for a club in the German equivalent of the Northern or Southern Premier League Premier Divisions -the 7th tier league- before playing briefly for a club in the Oberliga Südwest -4th tier league- and being snapped up by Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga 1. I’m not saying Bébé will end up emulating Klose’s performances, but there are players who acquire good fundamentals despite never training in “top, top” teams’ academies.
Portugal police reported to be probing Bébé move to Manchester United

I wonder what they will unearth...
Good. It was one bent as fuck pay off hidden in a transfer. Hope everybody involved gets what's coming

Still an all time great post
Some interesting quotes attributed to Bebe in this article.
"I never took Manchester United seriously and never understood a word about what Alex Ferguson was saying," he said. "I thought: 'I'm here, I'm doing well and I don't have to try hard every day'. It was my fault. I was messing around too much."
He sounds like a worthless sack of shit.
He's also said he's coming back.
Which allows me to quote this stupid Gok Wan-sounding cunt again:
