I couldn't find a book thread, so here we go...
Just finished "Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee" by Dee Brown, which a very readable history (for those worried it might be too heavy) of how Native Americans were royally fucked over by white Americans in their quest to populate North America (in a nutshell). This is easily one of the best books I've ever read, whilst also the most infuriating and saddening at the same time.
Quite simply, this book is fucking brilliant and I recommend that everybody reads it at some time in their life. It goes some way to explaining modern day American...
