   I think he will be a really good coach.

   If Pogba goes that leaves us with Carrick Cleverley Anderson Giggs and Scholes as our CM options. The last two will have part time roles so SAF will def buy one CM this summer.

   Wow that is sad news indeed but his health is the most important thing after all. But I disagree with Bill - SAF needs to buy TWO central MFs in the summer and has to convince the Glazers to splash some cash or United will start decaying faster than Uncle Joe's teeth.

   I think we wiill finish 2nd to city for a number of years so uefacl is no problems. How far we get is another matter. Arsenal are too mentally weak, Chelsea have no continuity on or off the pitch and Spurs just play loose. Newcastle will take a step backwards next season and Liverpool are a cup team under kenny.

   Chelsea will spend large this year... they're due an overhaul... and if Arsenal keep van Percie, and buy well, a midfielder and centre back, they'll be in business.

   If we don't spend this year, and I don't think we will... not proper money anyway... Cleverly will be "THE MAN" in midfield... I honestly expect Giggs and Scholes to sign up for another year... Park will stay... and with Anderson, Young, Nani, and Valencia... that's plenty of options for Ferguson.

   Berbatov will go to get his wages off the books... and we'll bring in a couple second rate players to fill out the squad.

   Ferguson has been working miracles with what he's had... partly because he's Ferguson, but also because like Sheesh pointed out elsewhere... the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, gave us a relatively easy ride this year.

   It won't happen again, and we are going to find our true level... 4th... if we're lucky.

   What will be interesting is how the Glazers play the spin game this year... the fans will be restless, after such a disappointing season... and the Glazers will need to be very sly to keep them sweet till the season starts.

   Last year, it was rumours of a £100 million war fund for Fergie to work with... where do you suppose a rumour like that would come from?

   And I suppose it's not completely impossible that the Glazers might see the sense in actually spending some real cash to appease the fans for a change...

   We had a net spend of 15 mill in 2010, 35 mill in 2011. I would expect somewhere in between in 2012. Cm, full back and cf.
