Prices of tickets have gone up over the last few years across the Premier League and Manchester United is one of those clubs which has followed this trend. Although the club freezed prices last season, ticket prices have gone up by nearly 50% for some seats since the Glazer’s takeover. Fans have been the ones to suffer as the current economic climate not making it easier on pockets. I am conducting a research for my Masters’ dissertation to find out fan’s experience of these changes in ticket prices. I would like to invite you to participate in this research by answering a few questions about your opinions and experiences of the ticket prices at Old Trafford. Being a United fan has additional motivation for me to get to know what fellow fans think and hence am using this opportunity to bring your opinions forward. The reliability of my findings will be more accurate if it covers a larger audience, so feel free to invite as many fellow fans as you can to participate in this study.
