   Heinze would be probably have been alright if he was with us now. We've generally operated with a full back who's a little more solid with the other being a litte more adventurous. Has Evra ever been that great great defensively? In the past he's had a top notch keeper, a Vidic/Rio partnership in it's prime and either Gary or Wes providing a solid balance on the right.

   I think his recent issues are less about a decline in his own capabilities and more about a decline in the rest of the defensive unit. Really, if we want to play wit 2 full backs who are actually wingbacks, you need a top drawer holding midfielder and/or a top centre back partnership.

   Having said that, i may well be talking bollocks. Have been on the sauce all day.
