   Just beta testing atm sidney - mainly to see if anybody is interested in "another new forum" - one based on discussing the original content on this site. Although of course if you're a new reader you might not know that Rant had a very lively forum from 2005 - 2007 before I took a bit of a break from this madness

   I probably should explain that I wasn't aiming the "another new forum ffs" at you but at the other posters in this thread. The unitedrant.eu forum closes on the 1st June so some of us have relocated here making this the 4th or 5th Rant forum since the original in 2005 that you mention.

   I would definitely keep the forum open. I like it. And if the lads on the .eu relocate here then it will remain pretty active.

   Right - the Unitedrant.eu forum is full of people who used to be on the unitedrant.co.uk forum before its unfortunate closure in 2007. Send them all over here and I'll keep it open. If it's still totally dead in Aug/Sept then the 'market' is telling me this isn't needed!

    Good to be back on the official United Rant. I posted on the original board in 2005. Good times.

    Yeah I've added a ton of links everywhere to registration page. BTW did you register on main site with the black bar that runs across the top, or within the forums? It should all be integrated but not sure if it is...

    I'm trying to work out how to port over the database from unitedrant.eu too... but will need some people who fancy the God like powers of a moderator!

    I went through the black bar (not racism intended, Cal) and it worked.

    Ed - you may want to make the forum link or option more visible on the front page. There are clearly lots of members who read the blog but not sure if there are aware or can see the link to forum. Maybe sell it a bit more on the front page or send a group email to the registered members to get their arses over here.
