We haven't had a decent kit since 92-93 season. Saying that, I have that grey one which the club ditched in double quick time.

They seem to be getting shitter and shitter as each season passes. Which tosser thought putting chevrons on the shirt was a good idea?

We need Trinny and Tranny on the case.

If they'd had those shirts in Stuart Pearson's day he'd have looked like a Bay City Roller ! City wear red and black 2nd shirts, Utd wear red, no checks, chevrons, stripes down the back etc.
Best kit in recent times was the '10/11 with the white collar and stripe down the sleeve.

at least they toned it down a bit from the earlier pics you posted. might just look red from a distance. not really tartan anymore though and isn't a stand enough (and way better) than this kit for Fergie?

Han, that picture is photoshopped... It looks almost palatable. But imagine it on a sunny day at Old Trafford, or on some fat ugly bastard United fan... we're going to look like bellends.

Tommy, the picture is from the official Man United Facebook, along with a few cringeworthy pictures of working class Manchester from back int'day that are designed to somehow explain the shirts existence.

That is just embarrassingly bad. I really am starting to wish we'd ditch Nike, they've done some good kits for us, but this is just fucking awful! Dread to imagine what's coming with the new away kit.

I never buy kits any more anyway, haven't for a few years now since they started releasing new home kits every season, which is a fucking piss-take, but I wouldn't buy this one even if it was on a two-year cycle.

I like the thought behind it... connecting to Manchester's past, the cotton mills that produced gingham etc. but it could have been done in a more subtle way, more modern way.
