   But naturally the SBs are outraged because the Hillsbrough tribute (the flames) have been moved to the back of the shirt and accompanied with a '96'. It's actually a better tribute IMO.

   I don't get all the fuss... it doesn't look that bad, and I like the industry heritage of it.

   The new kit is hideous - but Nike keep churning out these shitty kits year after year and people keep buying them.

   Some of the kits they do for other teams are actually really nice, funnily enough.

   Someone pointed out on Twitter... the ridiculousness of Nike trying to reclaim Manchester's industrial heritage... the cotton mills that Nike's cheap foreign sweatshops helped destroy

   The cotton industry in Manchester was in decline long before Nike came along - we're talking about the end of WW2 and end of the British empire here...but, yeah, it's pathetic for Nike to try and make use of a heritage that has nothing to do with them.

    Just noticed something about the new away kit, from the pics on Sky Sports (though why they felt the need to do an entire photo gallery just for a kit release is beyond me), the United crest isn't even an embroidered one, it's just a shitty transfer! I was almost coming round to liking the away shirt, even with THAT collar, but now it just seems really cheap and nasty!
