Moderator The other big rumour going around, is that Mourinho has fallen out of love with the Real Madreeed job, and wants to come back to England.
Personally, I wouldn't want him... but if the club does, then they better move quick, because my gut tells me he'd end up at the Bitters... and with their cash, and desperate appetite for success... at any cost... even at the expense of good football... I think he'd make them all but unbeatable for years.

I can see that many people are put off by the way he behaves but Mourinho is a winner. His Madrid team are currently 7 points clear of (according to some) arguably one of the greatest club sides in football history.
City wouldn't care about Mourinho's attitude and behaviour whereas I'm sure it would horrify someone at United like Sir Bobby Charlton
The problem as I see it is that, if we won't go for Mourinho, who else is there in the managerial field who has the temperament, experience and winning mentality to take up the managerial position at United?
Guardiola is an alternative but many claim he was lucky to inherit the players he did at Barca. Ex-players like Solksjaer, Blanc and Cantona are a total non-starter IMO and don't even compare to Jose.
I have a horrible feeling that Mourinho will go to City and we will end up with Queiroz.

Moderator Nah... he won't leave with the title within sight.
In fact, it would suit Mourinhos ego perfectly, to win the title, and then quit.
As far as him replacing Ferguson... he's definitely big enough... but I don't think he'd take the job under the Glazers... he'd love it that the Glazers would leave him alone to get on with it... but he wants to work with the best players.
If he had the money and freedom to rebuild... how many of our current squad would survive a Mourinho culling?... Not many, I'd wager...
Anyway... Ferguson seems to have settled on the idea of staying on for as long as he's able... could be years yet... which in itself doesn't bother me... I think he's still got the fire to win... but his unerring support of the Glazers, and their reluctance to spend has completely put me off Ferguson... he's a lying cunt with a baffling agenda, and I no longer trust him, or believe a fuckin thing he says...
