The Mail claims that Rooney was dropped after taking his wife out for a meal on Boxing day.
I am too lazy to find a link.
If the above is true, Fergie needs to have a word with himself. Could well be bollocks, though. Who knows what the manager is thinking these days?
Edit - Evans and Gibson were also allegedly axed for going out on Boxing Day.

the thing that frustrates the most, is that at half time he realised how ridiculous everything was, and brought on one of the two central midfielders (the other being pogba) he had sitting on the bench, moved the right back into his correct position, and the right winger into his and suddenly everyone played better.
even if anderson was half fit, at least let him start the game, rather than this ridiculous central midfield of rafael and park.
hopefully fergie can see the ridiculousness of his actions, and go out and buy a central midfielder

Just wanted to vent. Fuck-all match. OT can suck it, I’ll just go to one of the London stadiums to watch them away.

Member Not sure there's any point in getting pissed off anymore. We won't win the league this season and 2nd place is not by any means a given IMO.
Irrespective of where we end up in May, we won't be spending any money.
Oh well, at least we all had a handy excuse to get pissed last night and forget that shower of shit.

i'm not even sure what the point of shuffling players and playing them in different positions is, unless its to give a game to everyone in the bloated squad. that's the real problem - we have chosen to go for quantity over quality.
