So who's going to win it?
Spain have to be one of the favourites.
Argentina as well, but I expect Maradona to make a fool of himself, and ruin their morale.
Dunga has made Brazil less fun to watch, but they'll be hard to beat.
I think the semi finals would be a good result for England. If Capello gets them that far, then who knows, but I think that's probably as good as they can hope for.

i think maradona has fucked things up by not taking cambiasso, but if argentina get a rhythm going, they've got enough quality to beat anyone.
holland should be a good team as well, but i don't think they have a proper striker apart from van persie.
If Maradona lets Messi be the focal point of all their attacking play then I think the little man will win them the WC. If not, then I fancy Brazil.

England have a piss easy path to the quaters - possibly the semis depending on the draw - but they'll fuck it up once they come up against a team that move the ball quickly and who take their chances.
There are about 10 nations that can play England off the park. Their best hope is to turn it into a slugfest, defend like cunts, park the bus, or several buses, and try and hit them on the counter. I don't think 442 is the way to go either. World Cup football is like Champions League football. You've gotta play clever and keep the ball.

I think that an unfancied side has a good chance of winning this particular World Cup tournament because small things like altitude, the type of ball used and the injuries affecting the top sides will play a part.
I may stick a fiver on an unfancied side. Not decided who yet.
Argie v Brazil final with us losing out to Spain for 3rd place. Get your money on it...

The police , emergency service and law enforcement are out in full.
There is a real presence in all the major cities and tourist areas.
The government know full well the countries reputation as a violent one and won't take no chances with security and safety.
That been said there are bound to be incidences but i just hope they wont hog the limelight as much as they football does. Afterall it's all about the football. Living in SA can be dangerous but if guests take care and don't leave valuables lying on car seats or unattended then they will be fine.
Also plenty of us locals want the visitors to our country to have a good experience and we wont tolerate any shit from the dodgy fuckers who try there luck.
Things will happen, unfortunately. Lets just hope that no one gets seriously hurt.
