Producing a fanzine is hard and mostly thankless work – especially when it comes to putting together the old fashioned multi-feature designed kind. We know here at United Rant having put heart and soul into six editions of Rant Monthly a few years back. That’s to say little about the effort it has taken to produce this site over the past decade. But mostly it’s the magazine that produces cold sweats and nightmares.

It’s one reason Rant is so pleased with the launch of Utd Way a brand new fanzine featuring the very best in Manchester United content – interviews, analysis, match reports and United culture. In the first edition of what is sure to be many editions Lou Macari discusses his time at Old Trafford as a player and hip-hop legend TQ reveals his love for United. Great stuff, keep it up!

Utd Way is available on the web, iPhone and Twitter.

It just doesn’t seem right reading a fanzine online. I want a magazine in my hand that I can read on the tram on the way home.

Fair enough Dave Anwyl I’d normally be with you on that, but these two lads have being doing a pretty good podcast for the last few years so I thought this would be worth a glance. Derek Hallinan I reckon Carrick when fit is the second name on the team sheet after De Gea. No coincidence Uniteds form picked up when he cane back from injury

I just don’t get how people can’t see how important Carrick is to our team. He controls play when he’s out there and when he’s not there we just don’t have the impact we do when he is.

Carrick is bloody crap! Slows everything down, loses the ball a lot, brutal control and touch! Couldn’t tackle his mother! Agree to disagree on all of the above statements cause just don’t get the Carrick thing at all!

Well, you’re wrong

Doesn’t get tackled much, doesn’t have bad touch, 1 in ten passes goes astray, 2 tackles, interceptions, and clearances a game, on average.

But please, continue with your anecdotal bollocks, it’s super fun.
