Poll: Should Fergie risk Rooney?

Indicators suggest that Wayne Rooney will be in Manchester United’s matchday squad for tonight’s Champions League quarter-final second leg tie with Bayern Munich. The striker, injured eight days ago, attended today’s central Manchester team meeting and took part in yesterday’s informal 11-a-side youth team training match.

But should Sir Alex Ferguson risk long-term injury to his 34-goal striker by playing Rooney tonight?

We need Rooney as fit as possible for our title run in, the question is what does Fergie want more, the Premier league or the Champions League?

Maybe Fergie knows more than we do and he is fit to play?

  2. Rooney can not play. He must rest for the next matches.

This poll really makes us look like a 1 man team.

I’m betting on Berba to finally pull his finger out and become a Utd player.

It is for the medical staff to decide. I dont give a monkeys about England, but he should only play if he wont make the injury worse.
