Rant Cast 134 – very blue moon

December 16, 2012 Tags: The Pod 3 comments

On this week’s delayed Rant Cast regular presenters Ed and Paul look back on a stunning Manchester derby – a game in which United snatched a last-minute winner through Robin van Persie’s outstanding free kick. The match proffered United plenty of confidence and has seeming teared a fissure in Roberto Mancini’s squad. We also review the Reds’ victory over Sunderland at Old Trafford. There wasn’t the cricket score many had predicted, but a six point Premier League lead was comfortably restored. Also on this week’s Rant Cast – we take your Twitter questions and look ahead to the transfer window.

I see that rumour in the media has it that the transfer window will be a non-event for us, if you exclude departures, that is.

Apparently, Fergie is “happy with what he has got”. I don’t know: maybe he should check with Mrs Fergie regarding size and strength before acting so glib.

Gars, agree its a worry. We certainly need some stiffening up in midfield even Mrs Fergal would agree.
