Rant Cast 141 – defrosting the Chevy

February 1, 2013 Tags: The Pod No comments

On this week’s show we look back at Manchester United’s comfortable FA Cup victory over Fulham at Old Trafford last weekend – a win so comfortable Sir Alex Ferguson’s side barely needed to break sweat. It was a totally different story in midweek though, with United beating Southampton, but struggling against Maricio Pochettino’s relegation-threatened side.

Also on this week’s show – we talk money. United’s share price has rocketed in recent weeks, while the Deloitte Football Money League places the club third in the list behind Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Meanwhile, United confirm a deal for youngster Wilfried Zaha, and we discuss and enjoyable weekend of cup football. No Schadenfreude there. Honest.

Finally, we take your questions and look ahead to a league match against Fulham in west London this weekend.
