On this week’s Rant Cast presenters Ed and Paul look back on another mixed week for Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side narrowly beat Sunderland in the Premier League to maintain a 15 point Premier League lead. But in the FA Cup, Fergie’s side went crashing out after defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The manager seemingly prioritised the league, but was he right to do so?

Also on this week’s show – we talk Carlos Tevez. The Argentinian striker was given 250 hours community service for driving without a license. Will he be cleaning out your bins this week?

And we look forward to the Manchester derby on Monday night. Will the party begin at Old Trafford?

Here’s a little something for Paul, the Rant Cast poet laureate:
An Ode to Certain Noisy Neighbors
That which did not kill us,
has only made us stronger
You’ve had some time as champions,
but it won’t last much longer
So, spread your arms like airplane wings,
sing “Munich” songs like asses
We’re Manchester United,
and you never will surpass us
