Rant Cast 97 – Roberto’s red card

On this week’s Rant Cast we discus Manchester United’s routine win over Bolton Wanderers at Old Trafford, a game in which Sir Alex Ferguson’s men laboured to victory. We discuss Rio Ferdinand’s riddiculous Twitter-inspired boots, talk Dimitar Berbatov’s mystery trip to Germand and ponder the market for youth transfers.

Regular presenters Ed and Paul, also talk the Olympics, review United youth’s FA Youth Cup victory this week, preview the upcoming match with Arsenal at the Emirates and talk red cards – especially the imaginary variety so loved by Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.

This week’s exit tune is “We’re gonna do it again” – by the Manchester United squad, 1995.
