It's been great to see them off but I'm still pretty worried about the 2024 CL changes, to be honest.
Yeah a cynical money grab has been defeated by entrenched corruption and xenophobic English nationalism. Happy days!

What was the tweet? Don’t do Twitter so can’t read it!
Which one?

One tweet was by Stan Collymore that said there are rumours an unknown owner is preparing to sell their club, and the other tweet said "Football administration, bloody hell"
...thanks for clarifying Sid.

What's the basis for Ole out now? It it because we're not higher than 6th place? That was the consensus here. That's not possible anymore.
It's only because egos have been bruised.
Cos he’s tactically inept...has always been my position and I’ve seen nothing to change it.

Re: OGS.....

Incidentally, Nagelsmann is now being touted over here as the next Bayern coach rather than Spurs, in the expectation Flick will become the next national coach. Yeah looks like Nagelsmann is gonna ditch Spurs for Bayern, as you would, which leaves Levy a bit fucked with that dinosaur at the helm. A...

Yep. We're getting the ESL one way or the other.
I think the champions league will turn into the ESL by changing the format to allow big clubs to create a closed shop. It'll be under UEFA so they'll stop cribbing. Everyone goes home happy.
Isn’t that pretty much what the CL plan from 2024 is?

Re: Manchester United to break away from the Premier League

From the guardian: The Guardian’s Jessica Elgot asks what is Boris Johnson’s own view on the German model of ownership (50+1) which gives fans a controlling stake in their clubs? Johnson says it’s a matter for the minister for sport Tracey Crouch to address in her review and he is of the opinion th...

Re: Manchester United to break away from the Premier League

Also from the guardian, Guardiola carefully spoke out against the ESL: He wants the best, strongest competition possible, but that it’s not sport when success is guaranteed – “Sport is not a sport when the relation between the effort and reward don’t exist. It’s not a sport when it doesn’t matter i...
