Smalling is good, Bailly is good and you'd hope there's a bit more to Lindelof than we've seen. But if our summer ends with just fred, we'll struggle to even match last season. He was good and it was weird, in a team lacking passing ability, that he didn't play more. There's half a dozen players in our squad I would've sold first, but still not much of a loss.
