It's been great to see them off but I'm still pretty worried about the 2024 CL changes, to be honest.
Yeah a cynical money grab has been defeated by entrenched corruption and xenophobic English nationalism. Happy days!

Souness reckons John Henry / FSG's position is untenable at Liverpool

Re: Manchester United to break away from the Premier League

Who'd have ever thought we'd have been relying on Chelsea and City to be the ones with the moral compass, and effectively saving the day( ignoring the fact they both did initially sign up!) I don't know about moral compass.... they're just the 2 clubs with billionaire owners who don't need the cash...

Re: Ed Woodward GONE!!!

A lot of what the ESL are supposed to be proposing is actually sensible, though they haven’t actually told us much at all. It’s tying it all to a shitty American-style league with no promotion or relegation that turns me off, and that seems to be what most people are against. But in terms of “killin...

Re: Manchester United to break away from the Premier League

It was Joel Glazer who put his name to United’s ESL statement. So maybe Woodward resigned because he doesn’t actually back the project, or the way they went about it? Wouldn’t that be funny, Woodward resigns on a point of principle :))

Re: Ed Woodward GONE!!!

I’m scared. What will become of United without Ed Woodward’s wisdom steering the ship?

Re: OGS.....

What's the basis for Ole out now? It it because we're not higher than 6th place? That was the consensus here. That's not possible anymore. It's only because egos have been bruised. Cos he’s tactically inept...has always been my position and I’ve seen nothing to change it. Well I think the point of ...

Re: Manchester United to break away from the Premier League

Anyway, Woodward always seemed like an incompetent clown, so I suppose this is a fitting ending. But it’s all so fucking strange the way it’s happened.

Re: Manchester United to break away from the Premier League

It all seems like a very strange series of events to me. What a shit show. I wouldn’t be optimistic that it ends up being good for the club, but who knows? Maybe VDS will be hired to replace Woodward :))
