He's the ideal replacement for Young as a 'could play either wing in a decent United side as a squaddie against the riff raff as long as we don't need him to do much player. If we plan for him to be a signficant player, we should get used to staying outside the top 4

He's exactly the king of player the academy should be producing regularly. If we set the bar higher than Lingard we'd only have a handful of homegrown players per decade. And obviously you don't end up paying 20m for someone like Young.
