Alf says "flukey goals" :))

You've bought the Mourinho spin hook, line and fucking sinker. Of course you have, you're basically a Jose FC fan these days. And a miserable one at that.

All you have is "yeah well the goals were shit..." which is pretty pathetic. If we scored those goals at City we'd be fucking loving it. Did John O'Shea's smash and grab winner at Anfield disappoint you as well, because it wasn't a 35 yard worldie?

Get with the programme, Alf. Other people are seeing what I and others said 2 years ago about Jose. The old fella in the vid nails it, Pulis and Allardyce get shit for playing football like that, whereas you hail it as genius like you did the horrorshows at Anfield, or you come up with excuses like last season when you basically just blamed 8 months of bad luck.

Just watched MOTD and fuck me I thought it he was bad first time around but fucking hell ,why the fuck are people making excuses for the lad , they never even mentioned the two goals he fucking gave them.Whats all this isolated bullshit ,that doesn't stop you winning a header of holding the ball up ,get a free kick ,he doesn't even bully the opposition.
And that's another point ,City are crafty cheating cunts ,and nowt wrong with that but the number of times I witnessed half heated challenges , kick the cunts off the park !!! It should have been a war.Where Roy Keane or Robby when you need one.
Wank.
Different strategy for me ,drop the useless twat play Rashford and Martial ( who was fucking anonymous again) down the middle ,save Ibra cost he ain't fit and the lump for 65 minutes subs , and when he does come on keep him out of our fucking area.

There was a proper fucking scrap after the game :))

Police officers and stewards had to separate up to 20 players and members of staff from Manchester United and City after an extraordinary bust-up in which bottles and punches were thrown and Mikel Arteta, one of Pep Guardiola’s assistants, was left with blood streaming down his face.

Arteta’s eyebrow was split open during a melee in a narrow corridor outside City’s dressing room and there were unconfirmed reports that another member of Guardiola’s backroom staff needed medical treatment after a confrontation sparked by José Mourinho apparently telling the victorious players to keep their music down.

Mourinho became embroiled in a row with Ederson, City’s Brazilian goalkeeper, who was standing just inside the dressing-room door and the two started shouting insults at one another in Portuguese. Mourinho is said to have accused Ederson of play-acting to waste time and then reverted to English, screaming “you fucking show respect. Who are you?”

Other players became involved and Romelu Lukaku was said to be prominently involved as the confrontation escalated into something much more serious, described by one person on the scene as being reminiscent of a pub fight. Early accounts indicate it was a much more serious incident than the infamous “Battle of the Buffet” in 2004 when Arsenal were the opponents and Sir Alex Ferguson was hit by flying pizza slices.

There were also reports that Mourinho was struck by a plastic bottle, as well as being squirted with milk, although that has not been confirmed and the Guardian has been told he escaped lightly despite being in the middle of it. Once everything had calmed down, Mourinho went into the referee’s room to voice his complaints to Michael Oliver about the incident when Ander Herrera was booked for going down under a challenge from Nicolas Otamendi in the penalty area.

Mourinho then emerged to do his television interviews and there was no sign of him needing to dry off. He did not make any reference to what had happened during all his media work.

Arteta, meanwhile, was being assessed in the City dressing room after being caught in the crossfire. United’s players are understood to feel like the noise from the away dressing room was provocatively loud and, with the door continually being opened, Mourinho appears to have been asking more respect to be shown to the losing team.

As the confrontation escalated, Sergio Aguero and Bernardo Silva were caught on the outside looking in, having not been inside the dressing room when it started. However, other City players were clearly incensed by Mourinho’s behaviour and the fact that several players, most notably Lukaku, had become involved. There are always two police officers in the Old Trafford tunnel after games and eventually they helped to restore peace.

Looks like Lukaku bottled Arteta. It's the only thing he hit all day :))

Arteta had blood pouring out of his head according to Daniel Taylor

It's bad because we lost control and Rom might get a huge ban. But it's also ace because fuck City haha, fuck Pep and his staff. And it's also ace from the point of view of drama - we're such bad fucking losers :))

I said there'll be an incident if we got outplayed. There was the eye gouging at Barca, now this.

They wont ban lucky, thats not punishment, its a reward.

as for the game,it went as most predicted except me,i thought we would win.
mou did bottle it with his tactics (last seasons tactics rear there ugly head yet again).

Young has shown what happens when you play a old left winger at left back, not once did he get at jesus, shaw would have slowed him down, with savoury tackles.
even though lucky was responsable in part for both there goals, the defense were at fault for leaving him the opportunity to fuck up.
as for midfield limpdick probally was the best of a gutless trio, and he`s not a creative midfielder, more a inside right. rashy and martial had been tasked with coming back every time cidy attacked,so on turnover the lump was isolated and we know he cant hold it up.

The deal is to endure Jose's tepid hoofball for trophies.
If he can't deliver he's useless.
Strangely the football has been entertaining bar the games against the top 6 teams. But that isn't the deal; trophies come first. This is why Real got him so that they could topple Barcelona.
Still, he's an improvement over Gaal and Moyes. He can attract players because of his relationships with talent and his reputation. That is okay for now, but not for the not so distant future.
I'd start tapping up other potential prospects keeping the next couple of years in mind. It's not like Jose won't leave United if a better offer comes his way.

Will the players even be up for the rest of the season, or will they down tools?

Even finishing second isn't a given.

tbf city showed us a lot of respect, they shouldve battered us after the second but shut up shop while our back four and harrara hoofed and dived about with carefree abandon

matic stood out a mile tbf, the only cunt not afraid of being on the ball with a opposition player near him, the anti carrick tbf
lkhm

hoofing

Notts Forest manager Ron Atkinson's thoughts after losing 8-1 at the City ground to Manchester United.

"Well there's not many other teams can say they've been involved in an 9 goal thriller with the champions is there??"

Agreed. I thought Matic was the only cunt who looked like he realised it was City we was playing. Herrera made Delph look good for fucks sake. Joey is going to have to let a few players go. Mata's on full pay for basically a consultancy role. Herrera yet again gets found out against a proper team. Every game is a lottery win for Smalling.

Matic's face after about 25 mins was a picture. Exasperated, overwhelmed, punch drunk. His head was blitzed.

But yeah he actually wanted the ball so that's something. But tbf the others were working to Jose's tactics of hoofing it. He doesn't want us to have the ball away from home or against good sides. He wants to give them it and wait for them to make a mistake.
