Really good point. As in he and his agent have been given assurances that Jose will be gone soon. There’d be no point in Martial signing if Woodward planned to sack Jose at the end of the season. Another wasted year from his perspective.

Some belters - but he’s always scored belters. He’s added proper ‘number 9’ goals too - the taps in smart finishes on the end of a cross, headers too. He’s matured his all round game this season. I always believed he was a number 9 and not suited to playing on the left.

Definitely. Also added to those number 9 goals is number 9 play like holding up the ball - something Lukaku couldn't do. It's why our counters were better under Ole than Jose. But now we have Fernandes it's key to us building attacks from midfield. When he gets the ball and has 2/3 players on him, more often than not he finds a man, or gets fouled cos his technique is so good.

Wow. We really have turned into Arsenal supporters. Celebrating mediocre to good performances like Martial's. He's been better than his usual crap self. He's improved. He's no where close to being a top player.
