We'll end up selling him to Spurs in exchange for one of their defenders or Dier. Under no circumstances must the club let Mourinho sell our young attacking players, it's what I feared most about him becoming our manager.

Real are looking at him as well. But I think Poch will move mountains for him by the sounds of it. Imagine the Martial that played under Gaal alongside Eriksen, Kane, Alli, Son, with their movement and finishing... Fantastic

Salah was Martial’s age when Chelsea offloaded him. 22-23 is far too fucking young to be writing these players off, especially since Martial has already shown so much talent. He’s not Bebe ffs.

But Salah wasn't any good when he was offloaded. Neither was Lukaku and De Bruyne had good players ahead of him.
Martial may become great in about 3 years but until then we're losing out on those extra goals/assists by playing him.
United should just be on good terms with him and sell him with a buyback clause which is expensive enough for the buying club to show incentive to develop him. We spent 63m on crap like Di Maria anyway who hasn't done much even after leaving.

United should never buy very young players, it's usually a liability. The club's going to splurge on players; why not do it on established stars?

You make him great, Dozer... You work on his talent, develop it and hone it. You don't just sit there and wait for it to magically happen, it takes hard work from the manager and coaches.

That's what's happened with De Bruyne, Pep ahs worked on his abilities and helped him become a world beater in a way none of his previous clubs managed. Salah too, his technique has got incomprehensively better than the cunt that first took to the pitch.

Seems to me like you just expect great players to become great naturally with no input.

We need a Rashford watch as well, he should leave in summer if he wants games.

Rashford has played more minutes this season than anyone ....

This is crazy

Anyone except Lukaku, Mata, Young, Valencia, Smalling, de Gea and Matic. Don't think his playing time is a problem, but it's a weird thing to make up.

He should've get more time up front though. Lukaku has scored 7 in his last 24 starts in the League and CL (since the start of October). And somehow never dropped.

There are plenty of big clubs who'd take him. Pochettino is supposed to be salivating over him.

That's a bit premature. Sanchez has been here a month. Played on the right yesterday. And who knows with Mourinho, he's going to have a tantrum and force his way out at some point. Can't plan your career around him.

Martial is averaging just under a goal/assist per 90. How much more do you want from a 22 year old on an impotent team? Also, that's the best scoring rate on the team, so how are we missing out?

I just don't get the fixation on blaming our players. It's Jose's fault. There are people here claiming that Pogba, McT and Matic played well. Lukaku had a good game, Sanchez has just arrived and his touch is great, Martial's stats and some of his play is great. Rashford has shown he has potential. We have the best keeper in the world. So our players have shown it's in them.

But it's all fits and starts, there's no consistency. We don't play like a team. How many players have improved? There's no real sense of development, just new component pieces added which are supposed to be better than the players we have. How many new players until we get to the point where it's reasonable to expect better football and a direction?

Beating Chelsea was good but it's the least we should be expecting by this stage in Jose's reign...
