There's a big OGS puff piece in the Telegraph: https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/comm ... _personal/
Of course all this happy narrative will come crashing down if Spurs smash us to bits.

Lot of press talk this morning that Simeone is someone we fancy if we can’t get Poch.
Don’t fancy that. Done well at Athleticl but he’s another defensive coach. Seems a bit of a loose cannon too.
Talk of Southgate too.

Telegraph also running a piece on how Southgate is a strong contender, what with his 'excellent work with young players' and being able to be a good ambassador.

The first ever Manchester United manager to win his first 6 games. Forget ‘who we’ve played’ that’s a fanatic achievement. And it makes a further mockery of He Who Shall Not Be Named

Hs showed a bit of tactical nouse to tighten it up for the last 10 mins when we shut Spurs out. Not bad considering that's the first time he's been in that situation in a massive game, and this int his squad. It shows that maybe he has what it takes for the big games. We faced their full strength attack as well.

Yeah. But the bigger factor was the system of having Martial and Rashford playing wider, with a midfield diamond. Totally caught spurs outSid wrote: ↑5 years ago Hs showed a bit of tactical nouse to tighten it up for the last 10 mins when we shut Spurs out. Yeah tbf, it shut Eriksen down and stopped him playing, that's why they created so little first half.ashleyfuckingyoung wrote: ↑5 years agoYeah.
