He'd be best off going back to Palace where they'll put their arm round him and make him a priority. At a big club like United there isn't time for that. Too much too early.

That was a good read. I hope van Gaal will be successful in transforming United into a club that once again is expected to win the league and challenge for the crowns of Europe and the World, but I fear that he will have to fight the Glazers every step of the way. I still think he could end up walking away in frustration.

That's a brilliant interview. It's interesting that he said he saw the players' confidence drop against Valencia, before the Swansea game. He seems much more focused on performance than results for the first couple of months.
