Publicly its the only thing he can say. Privately, we probably believe it.Pikey McScum wrote: ↑4 years ago From OGS press conference this morning:
"As far as I am aware, we don't have any bids for our players," said Solskjaer.
"We're Manchester United, we don't have to sell and don't have to overpay. You have to have the right players at the right price and if you look at the squad we've got now there are so many good players."
I CAN'T BELIEVE NO-ONE HAS BID FOR ASHLEY FUCKING YOUNG YET!?!?!?!?!
Apparently United have had an offer of £65 mill accepted for De Ligt. It would make sense as both Pogba and De Ligt have the same bastard agent. De Ligt signs and Pogba leaves. Black arts at work. If he does sign you can guarantee he’ll only be here 3 years then off to Juventus etc.
Good deal though. We get a class defender and some money for Pogba to spend on the other 5 class players we need!

This is the point. It's not stars or midtable talent. There are tons of players who'd improve us.fat maradona wrote: ↑4 years agoThere's a big difference between the 'big names' you've mentioned and the likes of Maddison, Fernandes, Tielemans (players we SHOULD be signing) and the likes of Lemina, Longstaff and James (linked with or signed).dozer wrote: ↑4 years agoYou;d rather we chase Griezmann, Neymar etc? We did chase and sign those kind of players and none of them worked out well.marlon wrote: ↑4 years ago We spent less than 50m last summer and 4 of our top 6 highest earners want out which could get us ~300m in transfer fees as well. There'd be money even if they stayed. AWB and James were in the press for a while before they were done too, so it's not like we're moving quietly. We're genuinely just chasing average players, probably for their running. This summer is as depressing as the last one.
One of the arguments against signing Fellaini was that no one wanted him, but he's been among our better signings post Fergie.
Pogba chose United over Real. We beat City for Sanchez, Fred and PSG for Di Maria. Big name signings haven't worked out.
And the other transfer problem we had was signing squad players who were never likely to make a difference to our best XI.

Leicester will finish above us next season. Quite possibly Wolves and Everton too.

Fucking hell, it's all go at the Rupert Murdoch Lies Factory (Sky Sports) today!!
In summary, we're planning a £72m bid for Milinkovic-Savic
Harry Maguire is still on
Lukaku missing from today's training session amid reports Inter Milan officials are in the UK to broker a transfer
