It would make sense, but I'd be a bit surprised if we did, knowing the owners we've got.Sid wrote: ↑4 years ago Inter are expected to make a new offer of £60m plus bonuses for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku this week, Sky Sports News has been told

Take it. 60m for a CF that can't control the ball is decent. We'll never recoup the 75 to 100m Jose & Ed paid. We got done. He's still the most expensive CF in football after 2 years of inflation. So take the dosh and spend it on Sancho or a top CB. That will improve us a lot.

Manchester United's transfer strategy - are you the man who decides?
There won't be any players here I don't want. No. We are still looking at one or two options but it depends on outgoings. It might be more because if suddenly two or three go, then you have to replace players.
doesn't mention the two midfielders weve yet to replace

So the rumours are true, we've spent this summer's budget, now we have to sell in order to spendlkhmffsstopmovingabout wrote: ↑4 years ago Manchester United's transfer strategy - are you the man who decides?

They're balancing the books post-Pulis
Yep. You can bet they’re holding off on the McGuire transfer until they can off load Lukaku.
Another shabby, incompetent, disappointing window from one of the ‘richest’ clubs in the world.
And still no mention of a DoF. Pathetic. Nothing changes!

Aye the DoF shit has just disappeared completely. It's not even talked about anymore. The next you'll read of it will be in 6 months when we're putting in more underwhelming performances and Daniel Taylor is analysing what's gone wrong.

More time has passed and we've not shifted anyone yet. I think Lukaku is perhaps the most likely, can't see Pogba leaving tbh, but it's still staggering to think no other clubs (top level, mediocre or just plain shite) are interested in signing any players from our squad!

this will be just before Ole gets the boot and then we'll be distracted by the search for a new manager to fail to plug the holes in the sinking ship

we've all spent the last few seasons slagging pretty much the lot of them off and you think some other team might not see what we see?
