Like I said, I blame the manager for the overall team's performance, not individual players.FuB wrote: ↑1 month agoThere's no intention to make them equivalent.
The issue is that, when it's Pogba we're talking about it's all "oh well, he was great before IN (AN)OTHER TEAM(S) so it must be Jose that's the issue" but, when it's Shaw (who I've pointed out that I have no particular interest in defending) it's all "yeah, well he was always shit so no surprise".
But... it's possible that some players don't fit in with a manager's system but they're good players.
It's also possible that the player's doing badly when he shouldn't be - imo this is more likely.
We can be more confident that Jose's not at fault for Shaw, because Shaw was always crap. Just like Jones and Smalling but over a smaller period than those two jokers.
But Shaw's far worse than Jones and Smalling. Anyway...
Pogba, it's quite likely that he's a fucking diva too. but at least he's earned his reputation of being a top player before joining the club
Based on what we've seen Jose's been at best "alright" with a terrible Shaw so Shaw's still terrible. So Mourinho has been great with a terrible Shaw but terrible with a great Pogba?
Not sure about Pogba, it could be either's fault or both. Jose's hoofball tactics from defence to Lukaku won't suit Pogba, but then Pogba's lack of tactical awareness, poor discipline on the pitch and his me first attitude could both be working against him.
