Mourinho's full of shit.

Postby Alfonso Bedoya » Tue Sep 24, 2013 7:45 pm

"Mourinho never wanted United job"

http://www.setanta.com/africa/Articles/ ... id-161763/

Is that right???

http://www.thebusbybabe.com/2013/9/24/4 ... ter-united

LOL...

This story is getting a lot of coverage, and it will be funny to see how Mourinho explains it... might be interesting to see how those deluded Rentie fans react as well, specially as their team isn't exactly tearing up any trees...

Haha

This Mourinho not getting the United job narrative is great though, like the one about Barca have about him being an "interpretater"

It might genuinely get to him at some point and fuck him up a bit, like the Barca one

It will also probably inspire him to smash the fuck out of us every time we play em

You're the one who's lost it.

You've been promoting Mourinho as "the man", for United for years... at the same time complaining about Fergusons', and now Moyes' "hoofball"... I've always agreed with you about Ferguson... and I'm starting to agree with you about Moyes as well... but you'll never convince me that Mourinho is the "special one"... he's a self important cunt, who couldn't give a toss about entertaining football...

But what this story proves is that he's got absolutely no integrity either... I could have at least respected him had he said, he was disappointed to not get to follow his "great friend", "the Boss", at the United job, instead of coming out with this string of lies about, "he never wanted the job", "Chelsea is his home", and the other pathetic, saccharine, bullshit he's been spouting since Moyes was appointed... and EVEN YOU knew he was talking shit, and was gutted not to get the United job.

He's a dishonourable cunt, a "hoofball" merchant", and I'm glad he's not our manager.

Moyes will be given the season, and that's absolutely the right thing to do. He's not been perfect as yet and I get the impression he's a little overawed and still finding his feet. He probably needs to blow his top in a press conference, call someone a cunt, ban them from future press conferences and say 'fuck you all, i'm doing it my way'.

But, even if he's binned off, who else is out there? Who else has a proven record of winning trophies and playing good football? Guardiola would never come. Ancellotti has just gone to Madrid. Who else is there?

Guardiola was a new manager and the first team he'd managed for the Barcelona B team for a season after which he got the big job.
Mourinho would obviously be a disaster in anyone's eyes who can see at least 2 steps ahead. He's perfect for clubs who desperately need to win at any cost. This is why he was a good signing for Chelsea, Inter and Real. His methods aren't obviously sustainable for the long term.
He did say that he wanted to build a team and stay for long etc, I presume he was hinting at Sir Alex for the United job. He has a lot to prove there.
He has a tendency to wash his dirty linen in public, not a good idea that for a long term hire.

This is why I don't think we can say Mourinho's better than Wenger etc - there's a genuine debate to be had there. Wenger hasn't won anything recently but his work would have an impact at the root footballing and financial levels for decades.

By this time next year think Diego Simeone will be in every managerless top clubs wanted list. He made Athletico Madrid beat Real Madrid. If he can do that again this weekend that in itself will be a remarkable achievement. Athletico play very good football as well.

Klopp would be fun. I wonder if he'd have the balls to play Shinji in the middle and one of Rooney/RVP out of position.

Top 3/knockout stages and Moyes will be fine though. Maybe doesn't even need that. Interesting he's making noises about transfers. Clearly has expectations about the budget and not willing to take the fall for it.
