Ronaldo

Postby Robbo » Thu Apr 07, 2016 7:51 pm

According to some Spanish paper according to the BBC Football Gossip bit Ronaldo could be sold this summer.

Does anybody want him back at Old Trafford ??? personally for 60 million Euros we can better buy a younger player who is starting out on his career and not a 31 year old player whose star is starting to wane and has issues.

Plus as I have mentioned elsewhere we do need to move on from our past, look back fondly on it bit chart new waters.

Aye me too Sid, he's an exception to the rule, look at the numbers he's put up again this season, imagine what benefit he would be as well training with the youngsters, he's got 3 or 4 seasons left at the top easy
Well I suppose that's the knighthood fucked.

Fair play to him for getting the airport though!

Deserves that for the local charity work and being ace and winning everything but fuck me I'll give that bust a year before its discreetly removed and a full statue actually looking like him even paid by him is up.

He deserves a statue, we've had George Best £5 notes and he has our City airport.

If anyone called him a twat upon entering they wouldn't make it onto the plane. An ambulance maybe!

Nope... not havin that... I don't give a fuck what charity work they do, because I'm not convinced that their motives are anything but selfish... look, Ronaldo lives an outrageously blessed life... his idea of "work", is training to be fit, and playing our favourite sport... that's not work for fuck sake, that's just a great way to spend your life... and he gets paid countless millions for it... now, fair enough, I don't begrudge him that... but if he does a few good works in his spare time, that's the LEAST he can do for the life he's got... what tax breaks does he get for giving a few mill to good causes, HIS good causes??? I don't hold that against him either, but it doesn't impress me much, when a filthy stinking rich cunt gives away his loose change... but again, I don't blame him, or hold a grudge for that... but St. Ronaldo he's not... he's just a stinking rich fucker who's got more money than he needs, and all the free time in the world to enjoy it...

A statue???

Bollocks... right up there with Beckhams Knighthood for me... glorifying a footballer is ridiculous...

Nah, his upbringing was really tough. Deserve a statue no. Always looked after his family, tried to save his dad from alcoholism but couldn't. Deserve a statue. No. But just because a sport pays him crazy sums of money, if you don't begrudge him that, if he earned say £60k a year, came from shite, always looked after his family, got to the pinnacle of his sport much harder because it was much harder to work and work and work and work to get to the top when you don't have the God given talent of say Messi. And fuck the loose change, you could see how affected he was by those mudslides on his home Island and almost having to be dragged of the pitch and basically taking over the management of the team to win an international tournament. Complete legend.

Let's see, what scandals has he had, being tanned and preening and having millions of birds think of him when bucking some cunt in Stoke or Kuala Lumpar.

Big fucking deal. That's why he's better than Messi for me, had to work harder, I know Messi needed hgh but he had so much more natural talent and that's why Ronaldo is a hero in Portugal and Argentina prefer other players because he might as well play for Catalonia (yes they do have a weird semi recognised team) because Messi has controlled Barca behind a down to earth tax dodging wee cunt image whereas Ronaldo came from fuck all too but worked harder, destroyed the Prem and La Liga and won an International cup.

So would you respect athletes more because they are skint until they are good and get sponsors?

I think Ronaldo would still be playing for Madrid now if footballers earned just decent wages, I don't know where Messi would be tbf
Well I suppose that's the knighthood fucked.
