Your first observation .......I was implying that in some publications and coverage.
Secondly that's why it's taken nigh on 100 years and a bit of research by your good self to discover that on the agenda Beeb ( we have been here before with my opinion of our government broadcaster, another thread)

At the risk I have no problem with women playing football my ire is with the unequal funding from the respective FA,s because that cash has been generated by men's football of all standards.

My other gripe why would you choose to televise Man City women v ? when quite clearly the only reason is the gender ,and not televise say FCUtd v Salford City e.g the standard of football betwixt fixtures is immeasurable.

Just to add another annoyance was the appointment of a women's linesperson the other night v Yeovil. Stick to the women's game .

is it that they can't run fast enough or might suffer faintness when lifting a flag that concerns you?

Tbf with the standard of officiating throughout the whole of the English game she would probably be just as useless as the bloke who may have got the gig.
Some strange homophobic suggestions in some of your implications F , PV is sure they are tongue in cheek though.

your inference, strange that it is, is noted.

it seems to me that surely only an ability to judge the game fairly and within the rules is the only real requirement for officiating at a game, male or female.

The real problem is in woman’s volleyball....
I just heard the sponsors/organisers etc have over-ruled so that the woman HAVE TO only wear bikinis....
That’s obviously to get viewers which clearly works

It's because women are valued for their looks not their talents. That's what has to change, in society and broadcasting.

It can happen. It has in some places. The "they're only good for eye candy" shite is pure shite - nearly 20m watched the USA in america where the footballers are valued much more for the abilities than their looks. There'll be tons more examples if you take you look wider than white western countries.

Some of you lot with daughters need to wise your baps
