So most likely another Old Trafford horror show to come. The 4-1 victory seems like a long distant memory and Swansea are definitely going to come here and reckon they can progress into the next round.
The match itself is going to be dreadful and not a great way to banish the Spurs game. The most interest subtext will be who out of the chronically underused players he plays, and who he doesn't for fear of leaving them cup tied and therefore less desirable (if even possible).
vs Swansea
Swansea are on poor form too, so this is probably not gonna be a great spectacle from any perspective, I'd imagine! I reckon United will nick it though, Moyes knows the Premier League title is becoming increasingly out of reach, so the cup competitions are probably his only chance to save face and make the season seem like some iota of success.

Ashley Young's injured, according to Moyes. Did his shoulder when he was tackled by Lloris. Could be out for a while apparently.

Depends how seriously Moyes takes the cup... I just hope he isn't desperate enough to think about trying to win it... if he's smart, he rests the likes of Rooney and Evra, and turns the kids loose...Sid wrote:Not looking forward to this, the team are a mess at home

Why not try to win it? The league has gone for us, and I don't see the point of hurrying to the start of an Arsenal-like dry spell. As much as Arsenal has improved, it will come up short in the league, and, not having taken any of the domestic cups seriously, will end the season potless for the ninth (or is it the tenth) time in a row.Alfonso Bedoya wrote:Depends how seriously Moyes takes the cup...
