Sid - yes of course I’m excited re Gomes....

I’ve said it for years on here since I started his thread on it....

And yea I want to see more of him ....
I’ve said it before I’ll not be happy with Jose if he let him leave by not playing him etc....
But by Gomes signing his contract I hope they had an agreement of when he will game-time ...

He’s our future top WC play-maker - to build a team arojnd for the next 10-13 years hopefully

Interesting that Jose rested Martial, Pogba, and Matic. Martial and Pogba not even in the squad. It suggests Jose values him highly now. Unless he couldn't be arsed with him now that he's signed Sanchez!

Good win, shit game... sort of what you'd expect on such a shitty pitch... that was a pitch with injury potential... don't know what Mourinhos plan was, and I don't care... for me, we negotiated a horrible fixture perfectly... got in, got the win, no one hurt, and plenty rested...

Next!

About binning Lingard?

No I don’t think so, you and I weren’t debating getting rid.[/quote

Fair enough, my mistake.

I just happened to read Jose's comments prior to the game about having 5 quality players to compete for spots. He didn't name Lingard so it means he considers him undroppable.

Easy considering he's United's best attacker.

Couldn't watch the game but in my football app it said Martial was out because of a mystery injury. Wonder what it is.

or maybe he doesn`t consider limpdick QUALITY or capable of competing,
the next fixture may give us some clues
