There is no point crossing a lot against a team who's happy to sit back and soak up pressure. CBs win that 99% of the time. Welbeck's a good player, but he's not creative in the slightest. Should never be no. 10 when we're chasing a game against a team happy with 1-0. No need to go over the failings of Young and Giggs. We could've kept possession better, but that was as much on Carrick as Cleverely. Much bigger problem is creativity. If Moyes really thinks Fellaini is the solution and not someone like Ozil, the future looks bad. It would be easier not to judge Moyes after 4 games, but he hasn't done one thing differently to his time at Everton so far.

Haha it's so fucking bad that even Bolt has felt the need to tell Moyes directly

Yep Giggs on the right wing is a new one! A clear sign of Moyes' tactic of getting wide men to cut in helping make space for attacking full backs.

People moaning about our lack of creativity make me laugh. This current United squad gets creativity from the wide players. So when of them is a liability as Ryan Giggs was then that is a problem. What is the point of having a man wide who's sole aim as an attacker is to create room for the full back? That is just plain silly. He has no business being on the pitch.

Today, without Rooney we could so easily have started with Carrick/Cleverly/Ando trio. Then Welbeck/van Persier/and one Nani/Young/Valencia and we would have done much better. Our midfielders need people hugging the touchline so that the centre-backs can be drawn out and then a all can be played into van Persie. I do not blame Carrick and Clev because being right footed instinct is to look wide right. And we know who was wide right. Just compare what Valencia did when he as on and even Nani to what went on before?

Ryan Giggs will get Moyes the sack.

How long is Jones out for? That was the one good thing that came out of this game. Valencia looked very decent at RB.

I just don't know who Moyes expects to unlock defenses like Liverpool's today. If Rooney is out, then Kagawa has to start. How could he be fit for the bench on Monday and not today? Makes zero sense. Moyes has got to let go. He's being Evertoned in games and he's fighting fire with fire. That bench was a tragedy. The subs were positive, especially Nani but these guys need a run of games to gel. Fine, it's a transitional year and we finish third? Then by God, let's go down swinging and playing the United way. Maybe the silver lining is Moyes and Woodward panic buy a little now, they break open the wallet with a crowbar and buy Herrera and/or De Rossi........
