Giggs has had 20 years and there are not any younger players showing him up in that team
I was making the same point Giggs isn't the problem, he's at the end of his career after giving us world class skill and service since he was a kid, who among our bunch of young under performing midfield makes him look past it. There are too many that are still not as good as Giggs is now and they should be in their prime not still about to show us how good they'll be.

Those players are the problem we've been waiting on improvement too long from Nani, Cleverly, Anderson, Young (was he not bought as the almost finished article).

We've had our fair share of Butts, P Nevilles, O'Sheas, Fortunes and such but they were support for much better players not the main event.

Giggs at least was the main event for years. God dam it!
There is something seriously wrong when Giggs starts on the wing instead of Nani or Valencia. And then he starts on the right. WTF! Also to rely on him maybe delivering one classy ball during a game while ignoring the loss of possession he brings to that same game is crazy. He should not be starting , be it on the wing or as an attacking mid. Anyone from Nani, Valencia and Kagawa are better than him and also Zaha deserves game time instead of a 40 year old.

Agreed. Zaha and Nani should start ahead of Giggs.

Watched all United games so far and still the same midfield problem.
We need a technical manager. Moyes is good but he just cannot get
his tactics right. First against Liverpool, no attack coming through the center
of midfield, same problem against Chelsea.
Nani is our best dribbler, he can go past defenders at will, so Moyes
should have brought on Nani to play in the center behind the striker
in an attacking midfield role because of his dribbling skills. He would
have caused all sorts of problems coming through the middle and may have
even won a penalty. Zaha would have been ideal for the Liverpool and Chelsea
games with all his skill, playing behind VanPersie.
Cleverley, Young and Wellbeck are not of United quality, they need to be sold!
Where is Kagawa and Zaha? Moyes said in an interview after the game that this is
Sir Alex Ferguson's team. He said it will take him two years to build his team.
What the hell did he mean by making statements like that?

You make a good point. .basically moyes is insinuating he wants to take an Inherited winning side and within 2 years make it a mid table side..tbf..he's well on course to do it this in 6 months.

I was really pissed off. For Moyes to make these comments in an interview.
I tell you, the United fans were really pissed at Anfield.
We got no attacking midfielders but we've got two exceptional ball dribblers, Zaha and Nani.
Plays being made through the middle is the problem, that's why VanPersie is getting no service.
Its common sense to use one of your ball dribblers in the middle behind the striker to feed VanPersie.
You use either Zaha or Nani until Kagawa comes back or until we buy new midfielders.
Zaha or Nani will cause problems coming through the middle and kept under pressure, one
of those defenders will drop them in the penalty area. Moyes is not a thinking manager or a
tactical manager. We would have beaten Chelsea and Liverpool with a more clever manager.
We need a manager that can read the game and make the correct decisions at the right time.
I looked at the tables and we are 7th place, 5 points behind Liverpool. REALLY PISSED OFF.

Agreed. Zaha and Nani at the wings for Giggs and Valencia and Kags in for anyone be it Welbeck, Clevs or Ashley Young. Then we can argue about consistency or potential or formations instead of how a 40 year old starts away at Anfield out of position.

BTW, SSN website saying PSG sniffing around Kags before the window closes. If that's true I will be sad. This is a player who's talented, hardworking and WANTS to play for us over anyone. Not too many players like that left........

tbf I don't mind giggs playing but if he continues to be used this much he'll be burnt out before he reaches his usual run of mid season excellence, weren't he barely used at the start of last year, already seems like hes a crutch for moyles

Here it is this late in the evening and no transfer deals have been confirmed.
Moyes took up his post too late. He came on the job a week before pre-season.
Should not have gone on holiday when he left Everton.
By the time he arrived at Old Trafford, most all the other clubs had already
bought their main transfer targets and took them on their pre-season tours.
Why the hell are we still struggling to find players? NO MONEY?
Lets hope something goes down before 11pm.

let's pretend we bought Fellaini a week earlier than we did. Do we win this game with him partnering Carrick instead of Clev?
