De Gea shouldn't be the best performing player, not with Sanchez Lukaku Martial Pogba Matic Rashford Mata Lingard in the team
But none of that lot are playing well let alone putting in world class performances like De Gea
Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III
Sell all the useless fuckers and start all over again. Give Jose a clean sheet, let him get 'his' players that'll play the way he really wants......
Alf's almost completely right when he says we need a steady ship, Jose has marginally improved us, we have some better players, Jose is a dick, always was, we need a long term plan, etc.......
But this is far worse than even i thought it would be.... It's not our position in the league, and fuck City and what they're doing, it's the terrible football and attitude. There are no signs of improvement or a formation, or a first 11, or any progress in any players. No run of good games, no relationships between any of our players, no tempo, no leaders, no joy, no excitement....
Remember the start of the season when 4-0's were the order of the day and we were only getting started??? How the doubters were mocked.

Bman was right, those 4-0s were largely down to superior fitness levels. We're flagging a bit at the minute. Key players like Matic are knackered. Pogba is probably tired too. Lukaku definitely is.
Remember when we were 'deffo' getting Greaseyman? How he was going to come and transform us? Match made in heaven.....

Aye, what a time that was. Optimism. We were definitely getting Griezmann and definitely winning the league next season.
In:
Savic (CM)
Fred (CM)
Skriniar (CB)
Sandro (LB)
Out:
Carrick (ret)
Ibra (ret)
Fellaini (bogbrush)
Blind
Rojo
Darmian
Shaw
Herrera
Jones and/or Smalling
It's a lot of turnover, but most of them play basically zero minutes anyway, so literally not going to make a difference. Regardless of who the manager is next season, those signings would have a big impact for us.

Can't argue with the outs in general except:
I'd probably keep Herrera on the basis he at least puts a shift in. Perhaps with a more attacking coach he'd show more worth?
Same goes for Shaw. There's something there but maybe it just hasn't and won't work out
