Ronnie is a god, he had to wait 4 and a half minutes to take that pen, being surrounded by Juve players for most of it

Exactly. Bayern seem to know how you win a two-legged football match. I hope Mourinho was watching.

Ps Pretty sure Jose has won plenty of two legged ties :)

Bayern had a TWO AWAY GOAL advantage. It doesn't really matter how they got them and when. If Mourinho had achieved that against them, you'd have said it was a job well done and that a solid 0-0 at home was all that was needed.

... and you're telling other people to stop manipulating things to suit their agenda...

If you're away for the first match, I think getting an away goal or two is actually more important than not getting beaten. Our big mistake was to be so cautious in the first match, a 1-1 away is much better than a 0-0.

that's sort of the point i'm making bman.

Snoops was trying to imply that Sevilla were better than we thought because they "ran Bayern close"... but, in effect, they fucking well didn't. Even if Bayern hadn't got the second goal, they still had the away goal advantage.

As it stood, Sevilla always needed to score 2 goals to proceed. No wonder they had a go at it but it doesn't mean that Bayern didn't manage the tie like the past masters they are by getting "just" a 0-0.
