Come on BMan don't fuck the narrative, Arsenal are one of the big teams we beat this season, when you win that's all that matters..... well that and trophies no matter what they're are or how we win them.

Funny how a 20 year old playing for United and scoring hasn't made it yet..........? Wonder will he be WC? We seem to throw that accolade about easily....

Dear god, please no. I don't want to watch 90 minutes of Rojo, Smalling, and Jones desperately hoofing it long, with De Gea already doing the same.

Speaking of CBs, what's happened to Bailly?
The hoofing is by choice, no? That's Mourinho's thing in big games - give it away so you can't make a (bigger) mistake. The back 6 vs. Liverpool was no better. At least with a 352 your forwards aren't part of your back line. And more generally it makes sense with our squad - all our wide forwards want to play centrally, we don't have any proper fullbacks Mourinho likes and Pogba could use more support/freedom.

Bailly got dropped so the players with a shot at a WC place could play.

Those are good points.

On Bailly, I’m not sure that I believe Jose cares more about the World Cup than the FA Cup, but I suppose it’s a team morale thing.

Former Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas says Jose Mourinho's treatment of Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford after the defeat to Brighton was "disgusting".

Jenas says it was "almost as if Mourinho enjoyed the failure of Rashford" and thinks the Man Utd boss was more interested in being proved correct, than looking out for his player.

Marcus Rashford’s toils show up José Mourinho as a man without a plan https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... _clipboard

Rashford is still only 20 and in the middle of one of those difficult seasons young players are allowed to have. The wider issue is the sense of a player drifting into a kind of dead zone where he seems unsure not just of his role but of his own basic skills.

Mourinho’s keenest fans will be eager to excuse him from any part in this. But something is missing here. Rashford has talent and willing. There has simply been no development, just a sense of irritation that this young player is not a ready-made elite No 9.

The best thing for Rashfords development would be to spend a season on loan at a club who look to play decent football, with less pressure, where he can play every week and learn. Somewhere like Bournemouth.

Have said the same myself. Would be his best bet.

A better manager than Mourinho would have got more out of Rashford IMO.

Jose doesn't have that ability in him, he's not a nurturer, never has been.
