It's on monday night so we'll have had 9 days to prepare, just like we did against Brighton and it made fuck all difference tbf
Will the team play for him, that's the question
vs Tottenham
I'd switch formation to 3412 and fucking go for it, to make it clear to the fans that we still mean business.
Manager and players need to salvage their reputations after last week's abomination.

The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits...
Jose will keep it tight because he can't afford the loss. He'll be looking to nick the win not open up and attack Spurs. He's talked himself into this position, a team stripped of confidence, short on game options, shackled by caution and intimidated by a former WC manager who has been left in the past.

Tottenham might suit Joses shite football, we can sit back and hit em on the counter
The only problem is the sitting back bit, letting Eriksen, Kane and Alli have the ball in the final third isn't a good idea. And then smashing it long to a CF that can't trap the ball. But you never know, they outplayed us at Old Trafford the other season but a long punt to Martial 10 mins from time came off.

Scraping results isn't good enough anymore. We need to be developing a style, improving and competing. We might nick a goal against Spurs is far away from good enough in his third season... and even if we play great and stuff them, can we do it the next game and the next??? That's what we need more than anything.Sid wrote: ↑5 months agoTottenham might suit Joses shite football, we can sit back and hit em on the counter

Mourinho will probably get it tactically correct tomorrow, get a result and then he'll revert to the crap tactics in the next game that he has 'developed' over the last 3 years. Another exercise in papering over the cracks (of which more appear daily).
