This from Sky Sports:
"Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will not be joining the club’s pre-season tour.
It is understood Woodward believes that staying in the UK is important to conduct transfer business ahead of the new season.
He was not present on the Australian leg of United’s pre-season tour or in attendance at their 1-0 win over Inter Milan in the International Champions Cup in Singapore on Saturday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side now face Spurs at the Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai on Thursday before they return to Europe to finish their pre-season preparations with fixtures against Kristiansund in Oslo and AC Milan at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
It is understood that United have rejected a bid of £53.9m from Inter Milan for Romelu Lukaku, while they have been linked with moves for Leicester defender Harry Maguire and Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff.
It is the first time Woodward has missed the club's pre-season tour since taking the position in 2013."

He only goes out on tour to meet our commercial partners and set up new ones, that's why our transfers get neglectedPikey McScum wrote: ↑4 years ago This from Sky Sports:

Now we're being linked with Dybala. Seems to be a weird split in our recruitment between players who would suit Solskjaer's high press and ones who would completely undermine it. If Pogba leaves, Dybala or Fernandes in as a 10 makes sense, I guess. But still leaves us in a situation where, if Fred works out, we have 1 good mid.

Romelu Lukaku finds himself out of fashion: Why are the top clubs not desperate to sign him? https://www.skysports.com/football/news ... of-fashion
I fucking said at the time we'll end up paying a massive fee & wage for him because Jose needs a targetman to play his long ball shite, and Rom's the only one left. That's why we can't shift the cunt now. He's a dinosaur. No top clubs play with targetmen anymore so they won't pay the 79m asking price or his bullshit wages. So he's just another expensive fossil like Jones & Smalling from a bygone age on display in an old museum that used to be good
4th placed Inter who finished 21 points off top is as good as it's going to get. 54m is decent. Sell or else it's another 300k + going out on a Jose dinosaur.

Reckon you are right Sid, maybe it's best to accept it was a shit decision to sign the chump in the first place.
"Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic will join Manchester United this summer if Paul Pogba departs. United will pay £67m plus bonuses for the Serbian, who has already agreed a five-year contract. (La Repubblica)"
IF Pogba leaves....I can't see him going this season tbh

We just hoofed it to him under Jose. He plays more like Hernandez under Ole, but only for 20 minutes, then he's knacked.
