Thought we'd have one boxing thread rather than loads of individual ones

So right have you lot heard of Lomachenko? He’s phenomenal, his hand speed and footwork are game changing, like Barca’s tiki taka. There's a lot of bullshit in boxing but this fella is the real deal. He's won 3 world titles across 3 divisions in just 12 fights, and he's beaten top fighters in the process like Linares who he just minced.

The way he fights is interesting. He has knock outs and knock downs to his name, but a lot of fighters quit in the corner. And these aren't punchbags, they're unbeaten fighters, world champions. They just can’t hack it. They can't see the punches coming (he throws some from blind angles) and they can't hit him back because he moves too fast. When he turns it on he's like the Matrix, hence the nickname.

Anyone interested in sport should check him out. It’s hard to find comparisons. Messi and Ronaldo haven't achieved what he has in their respective sports. Anyway have a look

He genuinely could. It's fucking mad.

For me boxing should look at his foot work and movement and copy it, and bring in a new standard. He's shown there's so much more you can do than just bobbing and weaving. He said he learned to move so well by dancing, so all boxers should dance now as part of their training. It would take boxing to a new level of skill like Barca did with tiki taka. Imagine having two matrix fellas going at it... Phenomenal

Josh was too heavy again, too exhausted to recover. It's the same with all the brit heavyweights except Fury, they prioritise weight and power over skill creativity and they're all fucked after 6 rounds.
