United players ‘admit Vidic is leaving’

Nemanja Vidic will leave Manchester United this summer and head for the continent in a £20 million deal, according to the club’s own players, the Guardian reports. The giant Serbian, signed from Spartak Moscow four years ago, has made his mind up to leave and those fears prompted the purchase of Chris Smalling for more than £10 million last month.

Vidic has consistently denied wanting out of the club amid fears that his wife is unhappy in Manchester. But those denials sound trite in full knowledge that the player’s agents are fueling interest among Europe’s leading clubs, including United’s Champions League opponents AC Milan, as well as Real Madrid and Barcelona.

The defender, whose contract ends in June 2012, is yet to ink a new deal with the club and should no signature be forthcoming in the next few months it will accelerate Vidic’s departure in the summer.

Vidic has suffered with a pinched nerve in recent weeks and the defender pulled himself out of the team to face Arsenal last weekend despite making the bench for the Carling Cup semi-final against Manchester City.

Sorry Ed but this is tabloid speculation. No sources. No quotes. No story.

I believe this is a load of bollocks as it is a well known fact that United don’t renegotiate player’s contracts until around 18 months before they expire The guy still has about 2 1/2 years left on his contract.

Vidic has constantly stated that he is happy at United and this story about his wife being unhappy is also not true as Vidic said himself. He said so himself that his wife does not speak to anyone about this matter so how can she have said something like that at all?

This is a story made up to keep the rumour hot, because that’s just what it is, a rumour and nothing more..

bullshit reporting. which Manunited player made the remark? prove it Guardian.

Before game with man City, lots of reports about Tevez. Now what has happened? Everything went quiet. Should put the reported behind bars in Singapore for false reporting.

Rooney will be leaving sooner or later. I said that he won’t last the duration of his new contract at the time that he put pen to paper. Fergie has his work cut out for him in the transfer market. I can see evra leaving as well. Rio is finished.
