Well that didn’t last long. United may have beaten Leicester City on the opening day of the new season, but it was far from a convincing performance. And if supporters thought that was just a sluggish start, far worse was to come away to Brighton & Hove last weekend. After a dismissal pre-season and a very public row between Paul Pogba and the manager, some are questioning José Mourinho’s future at the club.

On the show this week Ed & Paul look back at United’s calamitous defeat on the south coast, touch briefly on the opening day victory, discuss Mourinho vs Paul Pogba, and touch on the Women’s team. There are plenty of listener questions, a look ahead to United v Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford and, for backers, a discussion about European football.

Sounds like you recorded this after the game last Sunday. Why does it take so long to release? You are leaving so much potential audience behind.

After 348 episodes we do know about being timely. Tom had a very busy week.

Been a fan and listening for years now. Love the banter, love the chats and despite delays I always look forward patiently to the next one! One day I shall send you an audio of my esteemed, reliable and factual opinion for future discussion 😉

Cheers and keep up the good work lads!
