Yeah, Chelsea's squad is quality. And the Russian will throw more money at it. They'll be a force, though it might be next season rather than this.

Yup, Tuchel to Chelsea is bad news for us.
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night, Good Lord deliver us...and while you're at it, a bit of a helping hand with hobbits wouldn't go amiss...

Yeh, they'll enjoy the bounce of a new manager and go on a nice run. They've got a decent squad there, with the right manager it'd be a title winning one. And Tuchel is a decent manager.

They'll have a bounce at best. Tuchel might be good for Chelsea who knows... but his track record isn't great. He got sacked by dortmund and psg. Hasn't stayed too long either. I'm not saying he's bad but his achievements are nothing special.

At Dortmund, he clashed with the Board and tbf the job was a difficult one i.e. following on from what Klopp did. At PSG, he underacheived with that squad but the main reason was that he clashed with the Board and was too outspoken. Interesting to see how he works with Abramovich, could be a third sacking on the trot for clashing with the Board

You know Ole is the first manager post-Fergie to have us in a title race. Jose's trophyless season was the best up until now but we were always 15/20 points off cos City were far superior.

Yep. I'm not thrashing Tuchel but his credentials are decent at best.

Chelsea’s squad is really unbalanced. They’ve loads of attacking midfield types, but they’re weak at the back. Don’t really have anyone to lead the line either.

They got Tuchel because he’s German, after they spent a fortune on Havertz and Werner and haven’t got much out of them yet:

Sounds like Rashford has a knee injury. If he’s going to be out for a while, someone is going to have to step up to replace his goals and assists. we could hardly expect Fernandes to do even more than he is already. Martial and Greenwood seem out of form this season. The obvious candidate is Cavani. But we probably need to do things a little differently to give Cavani more chances. We need to get the ball into the box more. If you look at the stats, we never score in the six yard box, which reflects how most of our goals come from the wide forwards drifting in, or midfielders like Bruno having a go.

Not saying we need to do a Moyes and bang in endless crosses, but we need to get more out of Cavani’s hard work and quality.
