MUST reject an initial proposal from the club amid protracted talks about a new share ownership initiative, Sky News learns.

The Glazers said the fan share scheme would be the biggest in the world and empower fans. But their proposal would have seen fans collectively owning a maximum of 1% shares in the club - so not enough to have any real say. They were also pretty useless shares in that they could be bypassed via special resolutions at company meetings.
Who is surprised? Everything they do is to manage flak and anger to allow them to keep extracting the clubs wealth.
