Just read Aidan Hartley's 'The Zanzibar Chest'.
One of the best books I have ever read.
From ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties and things that go bump in the night, Good Lord deliver us...and while you're at it, a bit of a helping hand with hobbits wouldn't go amiss...

Waiting on Simon Scarrow to hurry the fuck up with the next Roman instalment.

Whats it about swampy, I haven't even seen a synopsis, this girl is usually on he money just with my taste in music, literary inclinations etc.

The meaning of life. It's okay, mildly entertaining, but would not make it onto my list of top reads. A bit lightweight, I'm afraid. Can't say much more, as it would give the plot away..

If you saw the McQueen exhibition (which was fucking awesome!), I can really recommend Andrew Wilson's biography of McQueen.
