Much more impressed with Italy after this game. I'm not entirely convinced by Immobile and I don't understand their insistence that Insigne is worth anything more than novelty comedy value but they're going to be hard to beat. Even after maybe losing Chiellini.
Italy look like potential tournament winner. Was most impressed.

This is where the Home crowd could have had a massive impact for Italy, and should for England.

With that Italian backing, they are doing really well, and if they had similar route to final as England where they pretty much played all games at home, they'd have a much bigger shot at winning the thing.

Its a massive advantage to have, and one that England need to make most off if they want to have chance of winning a 1st tournament in 55 years.

Can work the other way too though, like if the right wing England cunts boo the players before kick off cos they think the England players are marxists

Denmark really going for it. Really hope they win.

Would anyone here have Martinez? Hard to know if he's doing a good job at Belgium, given the squad they have.

Apparently he was better than Moyes but he did worse for Everton. People are too quick to judge.

That was the most entertaining match so far. Feel bad for the Danes.

Martinez? Yeah he doesn’t totally convince. Thought the same in the WC. They do have such a good squad. But it’s hard to put the pieces together right.

It’s pretty clear now that Moyes is a better manager than Ole tbf.

I think England are in with a great chance. The home advantage is key, you can see how the home crowd drove Denmark on against Belgium (didn’t work for them, but England is better). Plus in Covid times, traveling is probably additionally shit for the away side.

England have specialists for every position, and most of them are starters for good teams. Southgate is worthless, but all he has to do is keep it simple, Ole-style. Play them in their usual positions in a 4-2-3-1, and the players will know what to do. There will be a good few injuries and tired players because of the draining season, so England will have an advantage over tactically better teams whose systems will break down when key players get injured.
