Big win, done just enough in the end
You predicted the score mate but it was the most hated player of all time who scored the winner.
The Tory destroyer wasn't needed tonight it turns out

One thing that's just fucking remarkable about the Ole era is how often we come back to win after going behind away from home. I think it's 6/7 times this season alone. There's an inevitability about it now. You know we'll score, like all those injury time goals under Fergie.

I don't know how we do it really, but another three points, back to the top.

There's a systemic problem that our players obviously don't know what they're supposed to be doing if we're not doing the bus parking + fast counter strategy. They don't know what they're supposed to be doing at different stages of the game. We're dominating possession, we're on the ball, what are we supposed to be doing? Then at the end there, defending a one goal lead, a common scenario. But the defending is so slack. They don't know if they're keeping a high line, sitting deep, or what the plan is.
Spot on. Yet we keep digging ourselves out of the hole, away from home at least.

Martial and Greenwood aren’t offering much this season. It’s great that we’re doing as well as we are despite that.
That's cause neither of em are wingers. Mourinho proved that Martial can't play on the wings, he offers nothing. Greenwood is a phenomenal finisher but isn't a dribbler or crosser, so why shunt him out on the touchline? Mason is still really young and a couple of years watching Cavani will only make him better but he needs to be played down the middle. Martial only seems to thrive in a specific system and we don't play that at United.

We do seem to concede possession far too easily, I think this is what is causing this perception that we haven't got a clue in between parking the bus and playing on the counter. Any time we start to build play, we end up giving the ball away cheaply and then having to reset. There is no momentum. When we do, you can see just how good we can be.
